about

Shortly after the move from Erie, PA to Las Vegas, Giorgio Castaldo met and collaborated with recording engineer Brian Garth for what would become GOC's first official full-length release.
Dispenser is an accumulation of beats from several sources; Casey Weldon being the primary producer, Brian Thornton, and a few beats by Brian Garth. Working out of several locations, including the 910 (Black Camaro), GOC recorded this brilliant 16 track masterpiece in less than a two week period.
Producer Brian Garth tells us, "It wasn't until the mixes were done where we went back in and created those skits. It kind of became this sort of concept album. Gio's first album was a concept album..ha!". Known mostly for its atrocious and sometimes misogynistic lyrical content, Dispenser was a hit with critics solely for the skits. Where the beats and raps were concerned, critics just never said anything. It's so weird.
